Photos taken on iPhone show up sideways in my Lovable app, desktop uploads are fine
About Supabase and Lovable
Fitting Notes stores the photo in Supabase storage. If someone takes the picture on the phone in portrait, the thumbnail comes back rotated 90 degrees. Happens on Android too but less often.

Something in your upload path is stripping the EXIF orientation tag, probably a resize step. The phone stores the pixels sideways with a note saying 'rotate me', and once the note's gone the browser shows the pixels as-is. Ask Lovable to bake the rotation in before upload. The browser-image-compression package does that and shrinks the file, which you want anyway.

Leo's CSS line didn't change anything (Gia said that's the default now). Did the compression package, since the files were huge anyway. Straight now. Old ones are still sideways but there's only a handful.
