Two things. One, a 300-line view is asking for it. Have it split ContentView into a few smaller views first, then changes stay small because the file is small. Two, put a CLAUDE.md in the project with a line like 'make the smallest change that does the job, don't rename or restyle things I didn't mention'. It actually listens.

And commit before every ask. Then when it goes wide you git checkout the file and you've lost thirty seconds instead of an afternoon.

Also say 'plan first, don't edit yet' and read the plan. If the plan says it's touching things you didn't ask about, tell it no before it writes a line.

Split the view into four files, added the CLAUDE.md line, and now the button ask changes six lines. Committing before every ask too. Thank you all.

Disagree slightly on the CLAUDE.md line. It helps but it drifts back after a long session. Clearing the context between unrelated asks did more for me.

Same problem, following. Row Counter is also one big view.
