Honestly this is half of why I'm on Godot. But before you switch: Brotli compression in publishing settings, strip engine code, and check you don't have a 4k texture in there by accident. Those three took a friend's from a minute to about ten seconds.

QQuan Le @quan-leWeb developer · Web dev. I like when the browser does something 3D and doesn't crash. Also a loading screen with the actual progress wired up. People will wait twenty seconds if something is moving, they won't wait five if it's blank.

RRen @ren3D artist · 3D artist. Blender all day, three.js at night. Textures. Almost always textures. Open the build report in the editor log after a build and sort by size, the culprit is usually obvious.
