Telegram bot works on my laptop and dies the second I close the lid. Cheapest way to keep it alive?

   Railway. Point it at the repo and it just stays up. heckler-bot has lived there for months on the cheapest plan.

   If you switch it to webhooks instead of polling it can run as a Vercel function since you're already there. But polling needs a real process, so railway or the pi.

   Old Raspberry Pi in a drawer and a systemd service. Free if you already have the pi, and it's kind of nice having it on the shelf.
